Each of the self-catering Todhill chalets is a home away from home. They are designed to blend luxury with the practical support needs of holiday makers.

The striking black clad external design of the Fraser, Tompkins, Buchan and Morrison chalets is a nod to the agricultural history and rural setting of Todhill. Inside, each fully furnished chalet is beautifully appointed with high quality appliances and furnishings.

Chalet Features

Entry

Ramp accessible front door with porch, lamp and code locked key box.

Large hall entrance with a window bench, boot rack and dedicated storage for luggage, jackets and other outdoor clothing / equipment.

Living / Dining

Open plan kitchen and living room with patio doors offering direct access to a large private decked patio area.

Lounge area with a two seat sofa-bed couch, armchair, coffee table and TV.

Free standing wood burning stove.

Shaker style kitchen with inbuilt cooker (induction hob and oven), microwave, fridge, dishwasher and Belfast sink.

Dining table and chairs for 4 guests.

Decking Area

  • Large enclosed decking area accessed via patio doors.
  • High quality outdoor dining and lounging furniture.
  • Tranquil views over the Todhill wetlands.

Sleeping

Master bedroom 2 single beds and wardrobe unit.

Second bedroom with double bed and wardrobe unit.

Large wet room style bathroom with WC, wash basin, a slate floor walk-in shower and fresh towels.

Additional Features of the Morrison Adapted Chalet

The Morrison chalet offers the same layout and features as Fraser, Buchan and Tompkins, but includes the following adaptations designed to accommodate guests with specific physical support needs:

  • The master bedroom features an inbuilt Likorall 242 fully electric overhead hoist system.
  • A stylish height adjustable single bed with optional side safety rails.
  • Optional slide mat.
  • A fully open plan wet room bathroom with WC grab rail

Occupancy

The Fraser, Tompkins and Buchan chalets each have a maximum capacity of 6 guests.

The Morrison chalet has been adapted to accommodate people with physical support needs and has a maximum occupancy of 5 guests.

Self-Catering Experience

Each chalet contains all the cooking equipment and crockery you'll need for a great self-catering holiday. You will find a welcome pack with a supply of tea, coffee, UHT milk and sauce sachets to get you started. For coffee lovers, there is a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with a supply of pods.

All other food and drink must be brought with you. There are lots of grocery shopping options within easy reach of your chalet including a large Morrisons Supermarket and lots of bakeries, butchers and other food stores in the nearby towns of Kilwinning and Stevenson.

If you don't fancy cooking, there are loads of great local takeaway and delivery options that you can access through websites / apps like Deliveroo and Just Eat. There are also many restaurants, cafes and bars in the local area offering a wide range of dining options.
